We spent the afternoon on the St. Joseph peninsula where we had camped in the 80's.  The St. Joe State Park is still as beautiful now as it was then and still a great place for shore birds and dolphins.

    haven't seen a piping, but have seen other variations, e.g. Wilson Plover
